Adapted from the web novel ‘Huang Hou Liu Hei Pang’ by Ge Yang, The Legendary Life of Queen Lau tells the story of a generous woman whose life suddenly changes completely after becoming a queen. Jackie Li aka Lanmu Yangzi is lined up for the main role along with Li Hong Yi, playing the role of a queen and king couple who get married by fate.
This web series, directed by Xu Hui Kang and written by Li Men, also stars Chen Xin Yu, Bai Shu, Wang Dong, Guo Cheng, William Yang, and Qi Pei Xin.

Synopsis
Liu Jin Feng (Jackie Li) faces a hard life after she and her mother are abandoned by her father. Despite being raised in a small alley in a busy city, Liu Jin Feng grew up as a wise, logical, and tough girl despite being impertinent and somewhat overweight.
By appearance and demeanor, Liu Jin Feng is not the ideal woman to be a queen. But fate says otherwise. Through a contest, Liu Jin Feng managed to become the wife of the young emperor Duan Yun Zhang.
Liu Jin Feng has a hard time adjusting to life in the Imperial palace which is full of strict rules. Her impolite attitude makes the Empress Dowager (Yao Qian Yu) bluntly say that Jin Feng is ‘not a queen’.
Even her husband, the cold-tempered Emperor Duan Yun Zhang, repeatedly suspects Jin Feng and tries to test her loyalty. But all that could not quell Liu Jin Feng’s enthusiasm and optimism, whose ambition is to reform the cold palace life while trying to win over her husband’s heart.
