Have your destiny read by Seo In Guk and his unique crew in the comedy-mystery drama series, Cafe Minamdang. Directed by Go Jae Hyun (Crime Puzzle, Player), the series began airing on Monday, June 27, 2022 online through the live streaming video platforms KBS2 and Netflix.
Cafe Minamdang is created by former criminal profiler, Nam Han Joon (Seo In Guk). Along with his strange employees, played by Kwak Si Yang, Kang Mina, and Baek Seo Hoo, Han Joon runs the fake business where he claims to be able to predict people’s fate. Until Han Jae Hee (Oh Yeon Seo), a female detective who doesn’t easily fall for tricks, arrives and brings trouble.
The Cafe Minamdang series is an adaptation of a web novel entitled Minamdang: Case Note, written by Jung Jae Ha. With an exciting and curious story, the novel managed to snatch the grand prize in a competition held by KakaoPage. Bringing the rest of the characters to live are well-known players Kwon Soo Hyun, Jung Ha Joon, Jung Man Shik, and Jung Eun Pyo, who are joining the incredible cast.

Synopsis
After being released from detention due to falsifying evidence, Nam Han Joon (Seo In Guk) decides to switch professions. Formerly a criminal profiler, Han Joon changes his appearance and speech and now claims to be a shaman, someone who can predict people’s destiny. He operates his fortune telling business in a cafe which he named Minamdang.
Cafe Minamdang consists of eccentric employees with their respective abilities. There is Nam Hye Joon (Kang Mi Na), Han Joon’s sister, a reliable hacker who used to work at the National Intelligence Service. Then Gong Soo Chul (Kwak Si Yang), a Minamdang barista who doubles as a homicide detective at night. And finally Jonathan (Baek Seo Hoo), a part-time worker, who usually just clings to his seniors.
Han Joon’s team caters to all kinds of VIP customers, scamming them and collecting money endlessly. Until one day, Han Jae Hee (Oh Yeon Seo) arrives. She is a detective with 3 years of experience, enthusiastic and believes in justice, and is not easily swayed by all of Han Joon’s boasts and performances. Will Jae Hee be the one to bring an end to Cafe Minamdang?
