The latest historical drama series featuring two well-known actors – Chen Kun and Bai Yu – is ready to be broadcast on the CCTV8 TV network starting Wednesday, April 27, 2022. The CDrama entitled The Wind Blows From Longxi can also be watched online via the live streaming video platform iQIYI.
Totaling 24 episodes with a duration of 45 minutes per episode, The Wind Blows From Longxi is a drama series adapted from the novel of the same name by Ma Bo Yong. The drama, which has finished filming at the end of July 2021, is directed by Lu Yang and written by Jin Hai Shu and Jin Yu.

Synopsis
During the battle that took place in AD 228, the Kingdom of Shu defeated Wei in the Northern Expedition using their bows. In order to obtain this powerful weapon, Wei sent many spies to infiltrate the Shu kingdom and steal it.
On the other hand, the Shu state intelligence department analyzed that there was false information that caused the Shu troops to misjudge the situation. This false information allegedly comes from Chen Gong (Chen Kun), a Shu spy who has infiltrated the Wei kingdom for many years.
To clarify this, a Shu intelligence expert – Xun Xu (Bai Yu) – is ordered to infiltrate Wei and investigate Chen Gong. The results of the investigation stated that Chen Gong was not involved.
Instead, Chen Gong and Xun Xu discovered Wei’s plan to steal the bow design from Shu. They decided to work together separately in order to stop the plot, Chen Gong continued to stay in the Wei kingdom while Xun Xu returned to the Shu kingdom and carried out his investigations.
During his investigation, Xun Xu finds a bow thief – Mi Chong (Lawrence Wang) and a highly skilled spy who is ambushed in the kingdom of Shu. They were waiting for the opportunity to initiate the Qingping Plan to create chaos in Shu.
Xun Xu and Chen Gong’s decision to work together at a critical time succeeded in solving the enemy’s evil conspiracy and maintaining the stability and unity of the Shu kingdom.
