The story of workers in the nuclear industry is present in the latest drama series ‘Enlighten Your Life’ which is scheduled to air from Tuesday, 28 February 2023. The 35-episode drama can be watched online via the live streaming video platform CCTV, MangoTV, iQIYI, Tencent Video, Youku.
This TV series, also known as ‘Xu Ni Wan Jia Deng Huo’ or ‘Hardcore Era’, tells the story of the extraordinary ambition and self-confidence of workers in the Chinese nuclear industry to realize the dream of becoming the strongest country with world-class nuclear power plants. The struggles faced by workers are beautifully reflected through the actions of the main characters played by Zheng Ye Cheng, Liu Rui Lin, Li Lan Di, and Guo Xiao Dong.
This drama series is also supported by other well-known actors including Hai Yi Tian, Yang Tong Shu, An Dong, and Song Yi Xing. According to reports, the shooting process for this drama series has been completed since August 16, 2022.

Enlighten Your Life Storyline
In 1986, Yugoslav nuclear power expert Lehmann questioned China’s ability to build nuclear power plants after his visit to the East China Sea. At that time, Ye Jia Ming (Guo Xiao Dong) and Lin Tian Cheng (Hai Yi Tian) were personnel in the nuclear industry who devoted themselves to comprehensively repairing and building the Donghai Nuclear Power Project.
Unfortunately, the project was hindered after Lin Tian Cheng was framed so that he was charged with being involved in several criminal cases. Although in the end the allegations were not proven, the innocent Lin Tian Cheng was already disappointed and decided to resign and go to United States, leaving his youngest son, Lin Qi (Zheng Ye Cheng), to be raised by Ye Jia Ming.
Lin Tian Cheng never expected that his son would follow in his footsteps. As adults, Lin Qi and Ye Qi Chen (Liu Rui Lin) even became key figures in the development of the nuclear industry.
