After a several delay, the latest film from the Marvel Comics character, Morbius, is ready to hit theaters starting Thursday, March 31, 2022. The Joker in the 2016 Suicide Squad and Zack Snyder’s Justice League, Jared Leto, is lined up to play the main character, Dr. Michael Morbius.
Morbius marks another character to appear in Sony’s Spider-Man universe after the success of Venom and Venom: Let There Be Carnage. Even in an interview with Screen Rant, Leto believes that one day Morbius will face Tom Holland’s Spider-Man.
Several other artists involved in the Morbius film directed by Daniel Espinosa include Jared Harris, Tyrese Gibson, Matt Smith, Adria Arjona, and Michael Keaton.

Synopsis
As a result of suffering from a dangerous disease caused by a rare blood disorder and his determination to save his fellow sufferers, Dr. Michael Morbius (Jared Leto) makes a desperate decision that puts his life on the line. He experimented with radical treatments using vampire bat DNA and electroshock therapy.
Initially, the radical treatment seemed quite successful. But apparently this type of treatment made Morbius experience some worrying mental and physical changes.
Even without realizing it, Morbius has abilities like a vampire, including strength, speed, and of course bloodlust. This leaves Morbius with no choice but to run away and try to figure out his strange new ability.
Things get worse with the appearance of Milo (Matt Smith), Morbius’ old friend who turns out have a similar condition and strength. The problem is, unlike Morbius who tries to control the side effects of his medication, Milo accepts and uses it for his own benefit.
