The Netflix network officially presents the latest Korean drama teaser adapted from the La Casa de Papel (Money Heist) series through the Netflix Asia YouTube channel on Tuesday, January 18, 2022.
The streaming service network also announced the official title of the latest drama that is scheduled to air this year, Money Heist: Korea – Joint Economic Area.
“Disguised under the shadows of a mask, a crew of desperados band together under the leadership of a criminal mastermind known only as “The Professor” to pull off the biggest heist Korea has ever seen.
“Trust the professor. Choose your city name. Don your masks. It’s time. A Korean adaptation of the hit Spanish series LA CASA DE PAPEL, MONEY HEIST: KOREA – JOINT ECONOMIC AREA ,” explains the Netflix teaser.

Previously, Netflix had confirmed the list of players who would be involved in KDrama Money Heist. Yoo Ji Tae is lined up as ‘The Professor’ which has a team consisting of members who are named after the names of cities around the world.
Park Hae Soo and Lee Won Jong played Berlin and Moscow, respectively, while Kim Ji Hoon as Denver and Jang Yoon Joo as Nairobi.
Park Jung Woo, Kim Ji Hoon, and Lee Kyu Ho played Rio, Helsinki, and Oslo, respectively.

Totaling 12 episodes, the Money Heist: Korea – Joint Economic Area was directed by Kim Hong Sun, a director who has experience directing a series of mystery thriller dramas such as The Guest (2018), Black (2017), Voice (2017), Pied Piper (2016), and Liar Game (2014).
While Ryu Yong Jae is the scriptwriter for the latest KDrama from Netflix which is scheduled to be released in 2022.
