It was very interesting to watch the match between Lorient and Lens today, two teams who have been promoted to Ligue 1 simultaneously in the 2020-21 season. Even though they are both promotions, everything is very different.
Lorient has tried its best to maintain its status in Ligue 1 in the 2021-22 season because it finished in 16th place. In this season, Lorient showed increased performance.
