Sevilla will host Almeria at the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán in Week 7 of La Liga 2023/24, Tuesday (26/9) local time. This is an opportunity for Sevilla to get their second win at home this season after previously winning just one in five games.
Sevilla are trying to bounce back from a poor start to the season. They just got their first win of the season (1-0 over Las Palmas) after three consecutive defeats at the start of the season. However, in the next two matches, they were only able to draw.
Despite dominating the match and having pretty good statistics, Sevilla still had difficulty scoring goals. In La Liga, they only scored six goals in five games, and half of those came in one game alone (3-4 loss to Alaves).

They have lost 10 of their last 16 matches in La Liga.
Sevilla has a big advantage over Almeria at home. They have won five of the last six meetings here. However, according to former star Fernando Morientes, Sevilla will face fierce resistance from Almeria who always play tenaciously at the Sánchez Pizjuán.
