Brighton and Newcastle will meet in the 2023 friendly match on Friday, 28 July 2021. This match will be an opportunity for both teams to test their strengths before starting the new season in the Premier League.
Brighton appeared quite positive after two matches against fellow English teams in America. Against Chelsea, Brighton even had the upper hand, and even though they had to play with ten men from the 60th minute, they still fought hard and only narrowly lost 3-4.
