Ajax Amsterdam will host Ludogorets Razgrad in the second leg of the 2023/24 Europa League play-off on Thursday 31/8. Maurice Steijn’s team has a big advantage after winning 4-1 in the first leg at home. They only need to not lose by more than two goals in the second leg to qualify for the Europa League group stages this season.
Ajax have started the new season impressively with a three-game unbeaten run in all competitions. They won twice and drew once in the Eredivisie, the Dutch highest league, and are in second place in the standings. They also showed their strength by beating Ludogorets Razgrad 4-1 in the first leg of the Europa League play-off.

In tonight’s game, Ajax is the favorite to win this match. They have a big advantage from the first leg and are also of much better quality than Ludogorets Razgrad. They also have high motivation to qualify for the Europa League group stage this season.
Meanwhile, Ludogorets Razgrad has no more hope of continuing their adventure in Europe. They will focus on their domestic league and will not try too hard in this clash. They will find it difficult to withstand the onslaught of Ajax and will likely lose with a landslide score again.
