Brentford will have the most important match of the season when they host Man City at home in Week 38 of the Premier League. This is a historic opportunity for a newly promoted team to win a ticket to the European Cup next season.
Brentford is currently in 9th place in the standings with 56 points, only 1 and 2 points behind Tottenham and Aston Villa in two positions above it. With an impressive goal difference, Brentford only needs to beat Man City in the last weekend, while Tottenham and Aston Villa can’t win against Brighton and Leeds, they will rise to 7th place and earn the right to enter the Europa Conference League next season.

Nathan Ake is also still not fully recovered from a thigh injury, Pep probably won’t risk using Ake and Foden in this game. Ruben Dias, Manuel Akanji, Jack Grealish, Aymeric Laporte also did not play in the game against Brighton, they will probably continue to sit on the bench in the game against Brentford so that Sergio Gomez, Cole Palmer, Julian Alvarez, Kalvin Phillips can start.
