Match Preview
Lens come into this game on the back of four straight league wins, including a 2-1 win over Reims at home last week. They showed great fighting spirit despite playing down to ten men for more than 70 minutes. They are now determined to secure second place and qualify directly for the Champions League group stage without having to go through qualification.
Lorient is also in quite good form, going unbeaten in their last three games. They were close to three straight wins for the first time since early October but a stoppage-time goal meant they had to settle for a 1-1 draw against Montpellier.
Lorient are now looking to set a new record for the highest number of points in a season in the top flight, but they need seven points from their remaining three games to surpass the 58 achieved in 2009/10.
The previous meeting between the two teams this season ended in a crushing 5-2 win for Lens at home.
