Preview Armenia and Turkey will meet in Vazgen Sargsyan anvan Hanrapetaka Marzadasht, Yerevan, on Friday, 25 March 2023 at 01:00 pm ET in the first match of Group D of UEFA Euro 2024 Qualification. This is the first meeting between the two countries since September 2010, when Turkey won 2-0 at home in FIFA World Cup qualifying. Both teams are hoping to start their campaign with a win and challenge for top spot in a group which also includes Croatia, Latvia and Wales.
In order to secure the first three points, coach Oleksandr Petrakov has several reliable players. One of the mainstays is captain and striker Henrikh Mkhitaryan. The 33-year-old is his country’s all-time leading scorer with 30 goals in 93 appearances.

On the other hand, the coach of the Turkish national team, Stefan Kuntz is quite expecting a lot from their star Burak Yilmaz. The 36-year-old forward is his country’s top scorer with 29 goals in 69 appearances.
