Kim Seokjin, who is known as Jin BTS, is expected to enlist in the military next week. In this regard, on Tuesday (6/12/2022), Bighit Music released an official statement, including asking ARMY or Jin BTS fans not to visit the location.
“Jin will fulfill his mandatory military service time by enlisting in the army. Please note that we do not hold any official events on the day of his enlistment,” Bighit Music wrote in an official statement.
Although the agency did not provide detailed information about the date and location for military enlistment, several sources estimate that Jin BTS will enroll in the frontline Army division training camp in Yeoncheon on December 13.
Considering that the training camp entrance ceremony is an event that is generally attended by many soldiers and families, Bighit Music asked fans not to visit the location.
“In order to prevent possible trouble from the crowd, we ask fans not to visit the location. Instead, we ask you to keep words of support and farewell in your hearts,” the agency said.
Not only Bighit, on November 24 when news circulated about his military date, Jin had written an online message asking fans not to visit the training camp to accompany him.
“ARMY may not come to the training camp. This can be dangerous because the place will be crowded with many people other than me coming. ARMY, I love you,” wrote Jin.
