Modern Marriage is the latest Chinese drama series with the theme of family-romance that is ready to be aired starting on Monday, February 21, 2022. With a total of 40 episodes, Modern Marriage’s CDrama can be watched online through the live streaming video platform WeTV.
This latest family drama from Tencent marks Bai Bai He’s comeback after four years ago appearing in the CDrama Only Side By Side With You. Playing Shen Hui Xing, Bai Bai He will co-star with Tong Da Wei, a Chinese actor and singer who is popular through TV series such as Jade Goddess of Mercy, Struggle, Tiger Mom, as well as several films including American Dreams in China.

Synopsis
Shen Hui Xing (Bai Bai He) is an ordinary housewife who dedicates her life to taking care of her husband and children. Whereas in the past Shen Hui Xing was a top student at a top university.
Meanwhile, her husband, Sheng Jiang Chuan (Tong Da Wei), seems to have no time for his family because of his busy work. It could even be said that the entire family responsibility rested on Shen Hui Xing’s shoulders.
After her daughter grew up, Shen Hui Xing felt it was time to get back into her career. For that he asked Sheng Jiang Chuan to share the responsibilities of the family, which instead sparked a fight between both of them.
The situation was further complicated because the company where Shen Hui Xing was pursuing a career turned out to be a competitor to her husband’s workplace. Moreover, an accident occurred which worsened the condition of this young couple’s marriage so that it almost ended in divorce.
Through seemingly endless confrontations, Shen Hui Xing and Sheng Jiang Chuan finally began to learn to deal with family and career problems maturely.
