The action adventure film adapted from the famous video game, Uncharted, will start showing in theaters on Friday, February 18, 2022.
This film marks Tom Holland’s comeback after two months ago that shocked the box office with Spider-Man: No Way Home. But instead of playing Peter Parker, in this film Holland plays Nathan Drake, a ‘rookie’ wanderer and a hunter of fate. Mark Wahlberg will be his mentor, while Antonio Banderas will be the villain, the main competitor in the treasure hunt.
The story in this film is adapted from the video game Uncharted written by renowned authors – Amy Henning, Matt Holloway, and Art Marcum. The process of adapting the game to the big screen took quite a long time so Mark Wahlberg, who was originally set to play Nathan Drake, eventually became Nathan’s mentor as he got older.

The adventure begins. The treasure hunter duo ends up in a race around the world for prizes before being snatched away by the ruthless Santiago Moncada (Antonio Banderas), who believes he and his family are the rightful heirs.
