Synopsis
Part 1: Ice and Snow Love
Set in 1980, this chapter revolves around Yan Zhen Hua (Chen Ruo Xuan), a young skater who gets the opportunity to study at a sports school in Harbin, China, with his best friend, Tang Jian (Hei Ze). Friends since childhood in a snowy environment, the two friends constantly struggle to achieve their dreams.
At school, they meet Li Bing He (Peng Xiao Ran), a city girl who has a kind and intelligent personality. Having the same dream in the ice arena, the three eventually become close friends.
However, Tang Jian’s accident forced him to bury his dream of becoming a famous skater. Yan Zhen Hua then duets with Li Bing He and participates in various competitions together so that over time they fall in love with each other. But after going through various situations, the two decided to separate and live their own lives.
Part 2: Winter Olympics Dream
Set in 2019 when China is preparing for the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics. This section revolves around the life of Yan Yang (Ou Hao), the son of Yan Zhen Hua, who was chosen as a local club representative to take part in short-track speed skating training for the national Olympics.
Arriving at the training center, he meets Jin Ying (Liang Jie), Tang Han (Zhang Jun Ming), a line of other great athletes, as well as coach Chen Jin (Jiang Xin) and team doctor Li Nian Xue (Wan Zi Lin). Yan Yang worked hard, from being a sparring partner for the women’s skater team, to becoming a full-time skater.
