The latest drama series in the fantasy-comedy genre with historical overtones, ‘Catch Up My Prince’, is scheduled to air starting Saturday, December 24, 2022. Adapted from the game ‘Zhe Keng Die De You Xi’, this web series with 24 episodes can be watched online via Youku live streaming video platform.
Catch Up My Prince’ or known in its Chinese translation as ‘Young Man Can’t Get Out’ was directed by Xi Dao and the script was written by Huai Yu. This historical drama with light comedy elements pairs Liu Yi Chang and Xu Ruo Han as the main players.
Basically, this web-series tells the story of a female intern who tries to return to reality after being trapped in a virtual reality game world set in China’s imperial past. Catch Up My Prince Storyline
A female doctor intern, Lu Ran Ran (Xu Ruo Han), accidentally gets caught up in a virtual reality game world set in China’s imperial past. She becomes a game character named Lu Ren Jia, a humble servant who manages to steal the attention of four handsome princes.
Not only Lu Ran Ran, it turns out that the video game designer Wang Chen Yi (Liu Yi Chang) is also involved in the game world. He became prince Zhao Chen Yi, one of the four most flamboyant and youngest handsome princes.
To be able to return to the real world, Lu Ran Ran must complete a special mission, which is to marry one of the male characters in the game. Set in the same imaginary world, the relationship between Lu Ren Jia and Zhao Chen Yi develops into true love.
After returning to the real world, Lu Ran Ran finally realized that Zhao Chen Yi was actually the video game designer Wang Chen Yi who was in an unconscious state. In order to bring her boyfriend back to reality, Lu Ran Ran returns to the game to overcome the plague and help society.
