The latest collaboration from the group Cantopop Twins, Charlene Choi and Gillian Chung, comes through the thriller-mystery drama series ‘Forensic JD’. The 12-episode drama, which is scheduled to start airing on Monday, December 12, 2022, can be watched online via the live streaming video platform Tencent Video and iQIYI.
Forensic JD’, which tells a story about forensic science and serial killers, is one of the web dramas whose broadcast schedule is highly anticipated. The reason is, this drama marks the first collaboration between Charlene Choi Tsoek Jin and Gillian Chung Ka Lai after ten years ago the two of them acted together in the drama series ‘Happy Marshal’.
Co-produced by Emperor Entertainment and Tencent Entertainment, the drama which is known in the Chinese translation as ‘Female Forensic Doctor JD’ also stars a number of well-known artists including Joseph Chang Hsiao Chuan, Kenny Kwan Chi Bun, Henry Prince Mak, Michael Tao Da Yu, and Kenny Wong.

Forensic JD Storyline
A female forensic doctor, Song An Yan (Charlene Choi), helps the police solve various cases while trying to uncover the truth behind an old case involving her father, Song Lap Wung (Tao Da Yu). For that, he teams up with emotional detective Liu Zhi Ming (Joseph Chang).
Song An Yan suffers from HSP or hypersensitivity syndrome which makes her brain very sensitive to an extraordinary amount of information. Even though she was often disturbed by her condition, the female forensic doctor repeatedly found clues through various information recorded in her brain.
In the process of investigation, Song An Yan and Liu Zhi Ming meet Lin Xiao Mei (Gillian Chung), a secretive woman with a mysterious identity.
