Synopsis
Zhang Wei Guo (Huang Lei) is a middle-aged man who works as an actor from the Peking Opera Troupe, but is less well known. As an ordinary man, he was quite content and happy in the small world surrounding his residence in Beijing Hutong.
Until one day, his father suddenly died. Various problems arose and began to disturb Zhang Wei Guo’s peaceful life. Even though he suddenly became rich through his family’s antique inheritance, in just one night all of Zhang Wei Guo’s wealth and savings disappeared and he even got into debt.
Faced with the situation being unemployed, Zhang Wei Guo decided to challenge himself and change. The problem is, in the process of change he made it to the top but lost himself.
Luckily, he has family and friends who always guide him so he can realize the true meaning of life.
