Friendship, romance, and youth are beautifully framed in KBS2’s latest college drama series, Dear M. This collaboration of directors Park Jin Woo (Love Revolution) and Seo Joo Wan (To Jenny) can be watched starting June 29, 2022 online through the live streaming video platforms KBS2, WeTV, and Viki.
Dear M tells the story of four friends at Seoyeon University, Ma Joo Ah (Park Hye Soo), Cha Min Ho (Jeong Jae Hyun), Seo Ji Min (Roh Jeong Eui), and Park Ha Neul (Bae Hyun Sung). Following the appearance of a mysterious message on the campus online forum, they try to uncover the identity of the poster, who goes by the name ‘M’.
As a spinoff of the popular web drama Love Playlist, Dear M invites the writer of the series in creating a light narrative that prioritize the experiences of today’s young generation. The two Dear M directors stated that they wanted to focus on the experience of falling in love, amidst academic struggles and anxiety about the future. To bring the idea to life, the series also involves other young actors as Seoyeon University students, such as Woo Davi, Lee Jin Hyuk (UP10TION), Lee Jung Shik, Hwang Bo Reum Byeol, Kwon Eun Bin, Jo Joon Young, Han Do Woo, Jun Sung Hwan, and Choi Hee Seung.

Synopsis
The normally peaceful Seoyeon University experienced a shock overnight. A mysterious message, containing a confession written by someone who calls themself ‘M’, has been uploaded on the campus community forum. Everyone is trying to find out who ‘M’ really is. Ma Joo Ah (Park Hye Soo), a Business Administration student who has never been in a relationship, is no exception.
To satisfy her curiosity, Joo Ah carries out an investigation assisted by her best friend of 12 years, Cha Min Ho (Jeong Jae Hyun), an app developer student majoring in Computer Science. Joo Ah also invites the school’s most popular couple: Seo Ji Min (Roh Jeong Eui), the cheerleader from Economics, and Park Ha Neul (Bae Hyun Sung), the campus ambassador from Business Administration. In the search for ‘M’, relationships and feelings begin to grow among the young people at the university.
