SBS’s newest mystery romance drama, Why Her?, begins airing Friday, June 3, 2022. Directed by Park Soo Jin, the female figure behind the series While You Were Sleeping and Dr. Romantic, Why Her? can be watched online via live streaming video platforms SBS, Viki, and ViuTV.
The series tells the story of Oh Soo Jae, a skilled young lawyer who is nimbly climbing the career ladder at a prestigious law firm. Soo Jae’s ambitions are cut off midway when a mysterious incident forces her to quit and become a part-time law professor.
The cold Soo Jae character is played by ‘Rom-com Queen’ Seo Hyun Jin. Partnering with her, Hwang In Yeop will play as Gong Chan, a law student who is attracted to Soo Jae. In addition, the main cast of Why Her? features veteran actor Heo Joon Ho as the CEO of Soo Jae’s law firm and Bae In Hyuk as his reclusive son.

Synopsis
Oh Soo Jae’s (Seo Hyun Jin) life and career are currently looking great. As the youngest partner and the first female representative lawyer at TK Law Firm, Soo Jae is walking the sure path of becoming one of Korea’s best lawyers. However, the path suddenly shifts when a mysterious incident occurs in the case Soo Jae is handling.
Soo Jae, ordered by her superior, is forced to take a break and work part time as a law professor at Seojoong University. There, she meets Gong Chan (Hwang In Youp), a law student who begins to like her. Gong Chan’s warmth and sincerity slowly becomes Soo Jae’s source of strength in her quest to reclaim the position she deserves.
