A new musical fantasy drama series from the Netflix network, The Sound of Magic, is ready to air starting on Friday, May 6, 2022. The drama, starring renowned actor Ji Chang Wook with Choi Sung Eun and Hwang In Yeop, can be watched online via live streaming video platforms Netflix.
The Sound of Magic is a K-Drama adapted from the webtoon ‘Annarasumanara’ by Ha Il Kwon which was serialized on Naver Webtoon in 2010. With a musical fantasy theme, this 6-episode drama series revolves around a mysterious magician, played by Ji Chang Wook, who suddenly appears in front of a teenage girl who has lost her dream and a classmate who is forced to dream.
Park Sung Il, who was previously involved in producing ‘Itaewwon Class’ and ‘My Mister’, is appointed as the music director in this musical directed by Kim Seong Yoon. Meanwhile, Hong Se Jeong of the musicals ‘Phantom’, ‘Mata Hari’, and ‘The Man Who Laughs’ is in charge of the choreography.

Synopsis
Yoon A Yi (Choi Sung Eun) is known as a smart student who academically always ranks at the top in school. In fact, apart from school, she also has to work part-time to provide for her life and her sister financially.
This beautiful girl does not know the whereabouts of her parents. The father ran away from home to avoid being chased by debt collectors, who then made her mother leave the house.
At school, Yoon A Yi has an academic rival who is also her classmate, Na Il Deung (Hwang In Yeop). This smart young man, who is always forced by his parents to dream, gradually likes Yoon A Yi.
In order to have a steady job, Yoon A Yi wants to become an adult as soon as possible. One day, she meets magician Lee Eul (Ji Chang Wook) at an abandoned amusement park.
The mysterious magician performs a magic show for people who believe in magic. And Yoon A Yi told Lee Eul that she believes in magic.
