Synopsis
Nick Cage (Nicolas Cage) is a great actor from the past who is now beset by piling debts and shattered family relationships. His ex-wife, Olivia (Sharon Horgan), is fed up with Cage’s selfish behavior, while his daughter Addy (Lily Sheen) also can’t stand her father who is always trying to make her the image he wants her to be.
Once, in the midst of his seemingly hopeless life, Cage receives a tempting offer of $1 million to appear at the birthday party of wealthy superfan and aspiring screenwriter, Javi Gutierrez (Pedro Pascal).
But upon arrival at Javi’s luxurious compound, Cage is intercepted by a pair of CIA agents – Vivian (Tifanny Haddish) and Martin (Ike Barinholtz) – who inform him that Javi is the mastermind behind a criminal organization and has kidnapped the daughter of the presidential candidate.
The situation takes an unexpected turn when Cage is recruited by Vivian to be an informant and a way in to find the kidnapped girl.
