Synopsis
Lee Dong Suk (Lee Byung Hun) is a man who was born in a small village on Jeju Island. He sells various useful goods by truck to make a living.
Once upon a time, Lee Dong Suk met Min Seon Ah (Shin Min Ah), a girl with a mysterious past, who returned to her childhood home in Jeju with a wound in her heart.
Like Lee Dong Suk, Choi Han Soo (Cha Seung Won) was also born and raised on Jeju Island. However, he briefly moved to another area before finally returning to his hometown to serve as a manager at a branch bank in Jeju.
The city boy who looks perfect then meets his first love, Jung Eun Hee (Lee Jung Eun), who now runs a fishing equipment shop on the island.
Jung Eun Hee also has a best friend, Go Mi Ran (Uhm Jung Hwa), who decides to return to her hometown in Jeju after feeling tired of the challenging urban life.
Lee Young Ok (Han Ji Min) also moved to Jeju Island after working as a haenyeo (female driver). Despite having a cheerful personality, it turns out that Lee Young Ok is surrounded by a lot of gossip.
She meets Park Jung Joon (Kim Woo Bin), a warm-hearted fishing boat captain who is looking for a life partner who will not leave Jeju Island. The ship captain fell in love with Lee Young Ok.
