The Contractor, the latest Hollywood action film starring Chris Pine, will soon be available in cinemas. The film is scheduled to premiere on Friday, April 1, 2022, in its home country.
This movie, which has the original title Violence of Action, marks the debut of Swedish director Tarik Saleh in an English feature-length film. This filmmaker was previously involved in the realm of television show producers, journalists, film editors and animators before turning to film directors.

Synopsis
James Harper (Chris Pine), a special forces sergeant, is fired suddenly after being accused of misconduct in connection with a drug test he is undergoing. The dismissal automatically cost James his paycheck and other benefits, as well as his pension and health care.
As a result, James and his family had to survive in uncertain financial conditions. With no choice, James finally agrees to work with his close friend, ex-officer Mike (Ben Foster), for a secretive and life-threatening private security contractor.
Under the command of Rusty Jennings (Keifer Sutherland), James is involved in a special task to spy on a virologist who is said to be involved in bioter.rorism research. But the mission that James and Mike and their local liaison, Katia (Nina Hoss) undertake, fails miserably.
