Youku Network is ready to broadcast the latest Chinese drama series, A Robot in the Orange Orchard, starting Monday, March 28, 2022. The CDrama, which is a remake of KDrama ‘I’m Not a Robot’ (2017), can be watched online through the live streaming video platform Youku.
This 24 episode web series with a duration of 40 minutes per episode is directed by Xing Xiao and the script is written by Ji Wen. Featuring the romance genre with a touch of science fiction, A Robot in the Orange Orchard basically tells the story of a man who has a unique allegory.

Synopsis
Lu Sen (Liang Jing Kang), the head of an ’emu’ technology company, suffers from a rare disease that causes him to suffer from allergies when he comes into contact with humans. For that, he decided to use the services of a smart robot named ‘Friday’, which was created by the genius scientist Dr. Fu Yang (Wang Fang) matches the appearance of his former assistant, Yang Shan Shan (Sun Qian).
Because there’s a problem, Dr. Fu Yang is forced to ask Yang Shan Shan to help pretend to be Friday the robot. Not knowing, Lu Sen still feels safe around Yang Shan Shan.
Lu Sen even gradually realized that the allergies he suffered from when he came into contact with humans did not recur as long as Friday was by his side. This makes him even more inseparable from Yang Shan Shan, who continues to pretend to be Friday.
Lu Sen’s warm and loving attitude managed to melt Yang Shan Shan’s heart so she decided to continue her role as a robot.
However, Yang Shan Shan’s secret was discovered by Li Jing Cheng (Wang Ce), Lu Sen’s rival who secretly investigated and discovered that Lu Sen was secretly working on a robot project. At the same time, the facts about a car accident that occurred more than ten years ago were revealed.
