The Bachelors tells the story of the family life of Qi Guo Sheng, a retired teacher who has been a widower for many years. The script for the drama, which was directed by Ma Jin, was written by Tang Qing and Sun Bohan.

Synopsis
Qi Guo Sheng (Yang Xin Ming), a former teacher who has been a widower for years, is known to be a good person in every way. But his three sons did not respect their father.
His eldest son, Qi Tian Zuo (Jia Nai Liang) is a pastry chef with three Michelin stars. Despite his success, Qi Tian Zuo has always been afraid of getting married because of his misunderstanding of his parents’ marriage.
Meanwhile, the second son who has always been the pride of his father, Qi Tian You (Guo Jing Fei), is a college professor who had a good life before his marriage ended in divorce. Meanwhile, his youngest son, Qi Tian (Xiong Zi Qi), faces problems in his love life.
Living with three sons and a grandson, Qi Mo Wen, makes Qi Guo Sheng’s home is like a male dormitory with sparks of emotion that are very easily ignited. Especially the fact that all the members inherited the temper of the grandfather.
Although the road to escape from the single status is quite steep and thorny, it cannot stop these men from pursuing a better life. When the fights and arguments start to subside, they can finally taste happiness.
