Synopsis
It has been ten years since Feng Xiao Qin (Hai Qing) became the daughter-in-law of the Gu family after marrying Gu Lei. But the suspicions of the eldest daughter of the Gu family, Gu Qing Yu (Tong Yao), against her have not disappeared.
Gu Qing Yu always believed that Feng Xiao Qin had ambitions of her own. Even though Gu Lei’s wife is always trying to win the hearts of her husband’s family, including her eldest sister-in-law who is beautiful and full of confidence, but arrogant.
Feng Xiao Qin urges her husband to borrow money from Gu Qing Yu so they can buy a house. But her husband’s twin sister refused the request subtly by revealing her plans to buy a luxury house.
After Gu Lei died suddenly, the conflict between Feng Xiao Qin and Gu Qing Yu escalated. This situation made Feng Xiao Qin, who is now a single parent, almost give up before finally starting to realize her true potential.
On the other hand, her divorce changed Gu Qing Yu’s perspective on life and family. The protracted confrontation that occurred between her and Feng Xiao Qin gradually melted into mutual understanding in bearing the burden of the family together despite facing an uncertain future.
